Sure I had heard the name “LP” talked up around the athletes of Sonoma County for a good while before I made my trek from Healdsburg to Santa Rosa one early Tuesday morning. I thought I’d give him a chance, even if it meant waking up in the 5 am hour…a couple of hours of sleep is a big sacrifice for a junior in high school!
Let’s just say I found a very worthwhile way of spending those missed hours of sleep every week.
From day one, Team LP Fitness did nothing but strengthen me as an athlete and person, both physically and mentally. For over a year, LP set up intense and challenging physical workouts for me, workouts that pushed me to a point of fitness and strength that I didn’t know was possible for a high school athlete. This strength was at a huge point in my basketball campaign, and helped dramatically in my recruiting process.
Not only did LP help shape me physically, but mentally he provided a new kind of attitude and outlook on the game of basketball and my life as well. His consistency in attitude and level of intensity is unmatched by anyone I have ever worked with before.
Not once over my time of training with him did I leave LP’s Fitness Playground dissatisfied with my workout.
I’m only sad that I left for Boston before I got to fully enjoy the capacity of his huge, new, gorgeous Studio Playground! I would not be the college athlete that I am today without the support of Team LP Fitness and I can’t wait to get back on the schedule with LP when school lets out in the spring!
